Title: Repair old water pump Post by: REDMR2RED on February 27, 2012, 05:48:56 PM I just fitted a new water pump (from Rares) and wondering if the old water pump is worth repairing to keep as a spare. ;D
The reason for fitting a new water pump was because the old one was leaking through the seal. Now it's off the car it looks to be in good condition. hope there is a rebuild kit... ::) but dont think so. they are $$$,compared with red motor water pump... He said he repairs heaps of all different water pumps and has never came across a water pump he cannot repair.
