Steve has a Chrysler hearse with a fuel tank that is rusting inside that needs repairing. Does anybody had any tips on places that still do this kind of work? They seem a bit hard to find nowadays. And a replacement tank is not a likely option. Something in south-western Sydney (Bankstown/Liverpool) would be particularly handy, but further afield OK. Job needs to be done in a bit of a rush. If the tank in question needs to be coated internally, go to the net and type in (Permanent painted coatings home) which will bring up POR 15 fuel tank repair kits. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I have used the kits on a car fuel tank & a motorcycle tank both over a year ago and have not had any problems with either of them. Title: Re: Fuel Tank Repair - Sydney Post by: zulu on February 13, 2012, 09:31:33 PM I've been lucky with most of my tanks, just took them to my local radiator place, St Marys Radiator Repair, Great Western hwy St Marys He puts em in a bath for a while, not sure if it's a pickle or not, then if they leak when he puts air through it, he solders them up.
