Came across this site, they claim to be able to replate die-cast, not sure to what extent though but if they can chrome plastic anything would be possible.

maybe there is a chance that new cars can have chrome bumpers if they can chrome plastic  ;D

Naa can't have that. Chrome only car shows would be full of Suzuki hatches and all that crap!!!!

Agreed, that is not a good thought at all.  I should slap myself very hard with a heavy object for even thinking that....

I spoke to a mate last night about my car and getting the chrome redone, he told me about this mob and said a lot of his mates in the mustang club use them and they all swear by them. Maybe worth a look see and find out what they charge. I'm looking to get my grill badge redone, but I think I'll try them with a less important part like the tail light surrounds first --just incase.
