Thanks guys, I still have a bit of work to do on the mould, working out the height how hight i have to set it so the plastic dose not leave folds on the corners. Then it should be right. I was looking at selling these and other bodys (as i make them) for around $35 + postage. if you want one now, how about $25 + postage. Im in Bendigo Vic.

Looking like a chevy nomad a bit.

I tell you what but jeez you must have some patients the harderst thing in the world is scaling down something to make it look right just ask the fellas doing the model cars.

A bloke near home has been doing FX FJ ute bodys and kombi,s they look good as well i spoke to him at the swap meet he reckons it took him months to get it looking right.

Keep up the good work Pete

This one is all by eye with a hand full of photos, draw the shape in pencil then carve / scratch away.

Keep up the good work Pete

Jim, the sixe of the chassis is 255mm between wheel hex and the width is about the same as an on road 1:10 race car, I dont think the bodys are strong enough to put on a truggie, they are made from a product called HIPS (a styrene type product) NOT lexan. I watched some of raod racing on the weekend and the amount of times the truggies rolled, nose dived into jumps or got slamed by another, they would look good but may not hold up as well.

John, as in the posts above the cost would be $25 + postage, would you like the windows cut out or left in.
