There was an after market Smith Clock that was square with an arched top that goes above the rear vision mirror, and I think you could also get one that went in a twin guage holder under the instrument panel, sort of wrapped around the steering column ?

there are pictures and descriptions of them in "Accessory of the Week" in the members section

the clocks come up pretty frequently on ebay (think they must have been fitted to a variety of UK cars). The surround is impossible to find - need to make your own. Ken has a template I think.

Hi
The clock is an accessory for FE FC though the 4 i have seen are all on FC. They are fitted above the mirror and as mentioned they are quite common the clock assembly but the casing is nearly impossible to get. The other thing that makes them a little awkward is that the wiring is fiited underneath the roof lining which is a pig of a job unless you are doing a full strip down resto or they were fitted ex factory or dealer. They are a good thing but very uncommon.
Cheers
