AFAIK all the rubber kits are the same gear that Rares sells, can anyone difinitively prove or disprove this?

Stinky,I belive that most if not all repo rubbers that rares sell are from a company called Pongpara Codan Rubber co. in Thailand. I also belive the rubbers that spectrum sell are the same as most of the time they come in a rare spares platic bag. I have been a windscreen fitter for over 35 years and all jobs that I have done for customers that supply rubbers come from the above suppliers. I have done a few jobs with rubbers from Bill Thompson in Qld. but not sure where they source theirs from.

Did you have any problems fitting the door rubbers, I,ve been told the rares ones are a bit on the thick side.

I've fitted many sets of Rares door rubbers with no problems, so there you go - you have now been told that they do fit OK as well - most people who report bad fitting door rubbers don't fit them properly. It is not as easy as just "apply glue and push it in the channel"
