Title: Early ID Plate for Ken Post by: fastjbav6 on July 01, 2011, 12:24:27 PM Went to look at an FC ute for sale. No floor from front to rear and badly rusted 6 inches plus from the lower panels up including major structural rust. No motor and gear box. $350.
Below the id tag where the paint has faded you can see where they chalked "183" on the production line. yes very early ute, would have been in the first handful of utes assembled in Perth I guess. I've been trying to figure out what the 183 might mean without luck - I have seen paint names in chalk below the ID plate, But hialeah green doesn't look like 183. Ken |
