Title: SBC rubber engine mount
Post by: crowbar on June 28, 2011, 02:09:45 PM
I have a CRS modified front crossmember for small block Chev
Would anyone know what rubber engine mount is required for this conversion
It appears to have some sort of spacer bolted between the mounts welded onto the crossmember and then ( I presume) should bolt to the rubber engine mount attached to the engine

Cheers

The CRS mounts should bolt up to the Chev rubber mounts ...HK HT HG used a steel adaptor  that fitted the chev engine mount and Holden front end .......FC427.....

Thanks FC427
You got me thinking so I rang CRS
Appears that the cross member I have is for SBC to HR which require the adaptor
I have ordered the proper weld on mounts to suit FE

Got that some time ago as I thought that was the only difference
Should have done a bit more homework
