Title: steering shaft Post by: ashfe on June 10, 2011, 10:36:53 PM i need a shaft to join a vt steering columb to a torana rack is this something i can make my self or is this something i need to have made and am i better to use nylon pivot bush from torana steering or use the uni style one from vt
Title: Re: steering shaft Post by: mcl1959 on June 16, 2011, 09:25:16 PM Generally engineers are not happy with welded steering shafts unless they are X-rayed. If you can cut down a stock shaft and re-machine the flat this is acceptable.
