Hi guys
         As i am relatively new to the fc scene could someone please tell me the origins of the bonnet emblem. What is it a bird,a plane,no its a _____
i would appreciate any info at all

I don't know that it has any specific origins, just shaped for an aerodynamic effect.  A wing would best describe it, but most people refer to it as a bonnet bird.

                 my mate and i were discussing it the other day and were just curios about the orgins and what it s official name was, my mate said he heard it was a bird. can anybody eles shed some light on the subject.

Its official name is bonnet mascot, and while 'bird' seems to be common in Vic, 'mascot' and occasionally 'aeroplane' is what they get called in NSW.

So it's both a bird and a plane, and whilst it probably wouldn't stop Superman, it could make a hell of a mess of anyone else......
