Title: FE-FC SEDAN/UTE Post by: mickusmickus on February 22, 2011, 09:35:51 AM Gday Everyone,
Was at the hairdresser yesterday and picked up a REALLY old version of streetmachine they had sitting on the rack. Flicking through the pages I came across a pretty trick looking FE-FC radical custom that I hadn't seen before. I am not sure if you would call it a ute OR a sedan but it was basically a ute front with a sedan rear. The trick was that the boot section (of the sedan) had been lengthened to form like a long tonneau cover similar to what you see on modern utes. No tail gate at all just the boot rolling down like a sedan. The car was orange and had VT Commodore alloy wheels on it. Anyone seen it, know it, have pictures of it? Title: Re: FE-FC SEDAN/UTE Post by: EffCee on March 04, 2011, 08:29:31 PM I like the look of the car, however I think that the following would improve it, As Stinky suggested Ute doors and gutters would help immensely. It I also would add rear 1/4 glass and make it into a coupe, similiar to the shoebox Fords of the early 1950's I would still retain it as a three seater, just leave the longer boot.
My 2c worth Keith Title: Re: FE-FC SEDAN/UTE Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on March 04, 2011, 09:34:46 PM When you think about it, if you added the rear 1/4 windows (I assume from the rear doors) you'd have to leave the sedan doors other wise the lines would be out again.

Must have just thought stuff it square will do i just want it finished... Title: Re: FE-FC SEDAN/UTE Post by: mickusmickus on March 07, 2011, 05:18:44 PM Totally agree on the doors guys, that would have smoothed the whole look over a little more.
