Title: Crossply Tyres - What pressure? Post by: CraigA on February 20, 2011, 05:35:17 PM I am setting up an FC that has crossply tyres fitted.
What are you guys using for tyre pressure with these 'modern' crossplies? My thought is to chuck 35-40psi in them to stiffen the sidewalls. According to the "Shop Manual" pressure should be 22 psi front and rear for all models. Pressures should be set when the tyres are cold and should be checked once a week. 22 is too low. I run my (admittedly old) Bridgestone B7+ tyres at 26psi. Even at that pressure they still squeal a bit.
