Title: Turbo RB30 FC58 UTE
Post by: wayne.c on January 23, 2011, 01:29:35 PM
As a newbie I would like to start this thread.

My project is a 58 ute which i've had for 5 years, over the last 3.5 years body work has slowly been done but none of late as the shell is in qld and i'am in nsw.

I will probably go get it next week as i'am keen as to finish it so pics will follow soon on my progress. Well the body is in good shape I did have it blasted and etched when i first got it,  my motor is in good nik with forged pistons and rods a new high mount turbo and just ordered a CPC race plenum(what a nice bit of gear that is)I got rod to convert a hr front end with a new tarrana rack for me and I have a holden modifyed ute diff to 345 LSD,28 spline 1460 mm track, drilled and slotted rotors with finned calipers.

I just purchased a microtech ecu with a 30psi upgraded map and all my chrome is being re done at the moment and not to forget the 7" stainless and chrome alloy brake conversion kit.

All in all guys its coming up a treat so i will keep you posted.

Cheers Wayne
