Title: Sydney airport
Post by: Hewart on March 04, 2003, 11:53:44 AM
G'day all...
Here's a photo for you. The caption calls it "The new TAA passenger terminal" at Sydney airport, Mascot. The earliest date on the back of the pic says May 17, 1962... but I can't be exactly sure when the photo was taken. Someone else may know when the terminal was opened which may help...

Also, I believe this is a Business Sedan, as most taxis were then...? not sure, but it's got the taxi rail, short front fender spears and no chrome flash down the side...

Cheers...

Nice pic Les.
That FC does look like a Business sedan. Notice it has no chrome around rear window and smaller boot badge. Don't you just wish you could walk into that picture?
Regards
Alex
