Brand new CNC machined dissy. With 3year warranty. Sounds too good to be true which means it probably is :-\ Cheers Dean Title: Re: Electronic dissy Post by: Old_Mt_Isa_Boy on January 15, 2011, 12:27:43 PM Ebay Item #260706524235 Here is the direct link. You simply select the Ebay symbol and place the ebay number in the middle of the brackets.
THIS DISTRIBUTOR WORKS IN HOLDEN Red Type 6cyl ENGINES. The above comment half way down the ebay listing bothered me. If it does fit in a grey it could well open up a new option. I will leave comment on that to those who know. Below is a link to a lengthy discussion on alternatives for points in a grey motor within this forum. http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,14835.0.html ($2) Regards Wayne Title: Re: Electronic dissy Post by: ACE on January 15, 2011, 12:34:21 PM G'day Dean,
Check his feedback :o Regards ACE 8) Title: Re: Electronic dissy Post by: smithy on January 15, 2011, 03:16:36 PM G'day ace,
Am i missing something with the feedback? There seems to be a lot of positive feedback and the negative seems to be the usual. But as I said for the price it seems a bit strange seeing a second hand vc commy unit runs up over $100 Which in itself is a bit of a ripoff. Sounds too good to be true to me too Dean but if it is genuine it's a real bargain , you never know with e-bay though I found a mob that sells 4 ball joints and 4 tie rod ends for $110 the lot. I have just bought one, if it stuffs up and they are way dodgy then I don't loose too much. If they do work then all is good. I am waiting on some answers to arrive from seller before I transfer money though :-\ Never know the guts from a Holden unit may just fit internally? Only time will tell Title: Re: Electronic dissy Post by: Old_Mt_Isa_Boy on January 15, 2011, 05:43:25 PM Let us know how it goes. Agree if they break you have not lost a lot.

Procomp hey I thought the photo of the V8 ones looked familiar, I remember us having this discussion with you over their coils, Ah well if the body looks good I can always use the Holden module. And if they do honor the 3 year warranty then I'm not going to loose too much. Wonder if I would have to pay return postage to china ;D Cheers Dean |
