Post by: fcdunedin on December 24, 2010, 01:14:48 PM
Hi there i'll give you a run down on my FC,i,ve owned it for twenty years and have only got round to getting it fixed up because i found this forum which helped immensely, the car was a 2 owner totally stock,i paid $2200 as is where is.
It now runs a 186,HR front end,Torana discs(girlock)electric wipers TY Ken great written instructions. It still has the original box,i've got EK auto hump and a Celica box/clutch to go in sometime.
Car has been baremetaled rust conv added then etched wasn't sure how long between next job so was done for peace of mind.
Had my old school mate panel beat it to a file and hammer finish,he didn't touch either sill no need welded in patches above headlight eyebrows and one in lower back guard,i was his labourer and he spent 50 hrs in total.$2800.
My mate Paul painted the car in DeBeer 2K.Toyota red and Holden white.I also was his labourer and we spent prob 40 hrs on prepping the car.$3500 incl paint.

You had actually done all of the hard work... when you put the cursor over the photo on photobucket, a little box appears. Click on the bottom line which will then say copied, come to this page and select paste over a reply and there it is..

Cheers and Merry Christmas
