It shows an FE with a continental style boot conversion and mini fins, done by Dale Fisher. these continental conversions was a trademark Fisher custom trick.

I reckon it isn't a flash kit, but the secondary colour painted under the swage-line (as is sometimes the case with spats painted in the secondary colour). Frank's FC is something like this:

It is from an early Modern Motor. It seems to be the same car, and probably even taken in the same location, by the same photographer.
