Title: Roof Gutter Stainless Strips Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on February 24, 2003, 12:01:18 PM Can anyone offer any advice on removing the stainless trim from the roof gutters, I want to polish it and put it back when the car is painted, so a non-destructive method is prefered.

Once you get it started you only have to tap it here & there, be extra careful at the corners & in the middle. Good luck! The other idea is to stop the stripe from bending as much as possible hence tapping lightly and along a 6 inch length at a time.
