Title: VH 156 POWER BOOSTER
Post by: GREGD on October 26, 2010, 10:07:26 AM
Hi all
Can anyone tell me what car(s) used a VH156 booster. I have asked all the brake places and have drawn a blank.
Any ideas will be good

Thanks Greg

Isn't a VH156 the same as a VH40 but with a larger bore ......FC427.....

Hi Greg,
I don't think the VH 156 is a booster unit like the VH44 type. PBR lists their Hydropower Vacuum-Hydraulic Units here:

http://www.pbr.com.au/products/heavy/documents/PBRHydropowers.pdf

From what I can see, it's more likely a Master Vac unit like that shown on this page:
http://hydroboost.com.au/techtalk.htm ($2)

Look at the master vac picture directly under the heading "BOOSTER IDENTIFICATION". In fact, it looks like the model shown is a VH156?

Regards,
