Title: Rare Spares at it again!!! Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on October 23, 2010, 04:04:22 PM I placed an order the other day at the local Rares dealer, took a couple of things with me and asked for the wiper gaskets and petrol tank sender to be posted out.
A few days later a package arrived, wiper gaskets and the petrol sender. So I go to fit up my very shiny sender with my brand new allen head stainless screws and would you believe that the brand new rubber/neoprene(?) gasket they supplied had holes that were at least 1/2mm out and required some minor fiddling. [/sarcasm] Great product though, it's a pity you have to put it in the petrol tank as they look great ;D they work well too ;) Title: Re: Rare Spares at it again!!! Despite the negative comments from time to time, without Rare Spares keeping the old girls on the road would be just so much more difficult. Keith Title: Re: Rare Spares at it again!!! Title: Re: Rare Spares at it again!!! Post by: stapla on October 24, 2010, 05:38:10 PM I fitted a new fuel tank seal to my car. Didn't think it fitted but once I turned it upside down, the holes lined up perfect with the factory tank.
Cheers Peter. |
