Anyone in Queensland with the slightest interest in Grey motors would be familiar with the name John Kean, and this was his FC in the early days of Appendix J at what looks like Hungry corner at Lakeside. I still remember helping my dad and John mask out those white stripes in his backyard when i was a kid in the eighties! John also had one of the best collection of Grey motors including multiple Repco Crossflows, powering both of his FX's, a Waggot, and a Dunstan. Johns now in his 60's so its awesome to see he's back out at Lakeside still doing laps in his Irving headed red motored FX.
