Hi all chasing a vl commodore rack manual one only not power steering if you can help i would appreciate it even if its stuffed i can exchange it.

sorry can't help.  i had an VL turbo with manual steer - long gone now. 

Didn't know much about VL's but thought they all had power steer as standard, didn't realise it when I brought it but mine was a BT1 police pack car.  Apparently BT1's had manual steer, FE2 susp and chip.  On dyno still pushed 150kw despite 280,000 on the clock.  Unfortunately someone adapted an earlier banjo diff which I only discovered after I blew it on our honeymoon.

Also the poverty pack no frills vl had no power steer, manual rack, no air con.
I also had one and scrapped it.

A banjo diff in a vl you would be asking for trouble.
