Title: Lost nuts :( Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on October 16, 2010, 04:19:44 PM What are the (sensible) options when a captive nut is lost?
One of the rear bumper mount nuts is gone, as I see it I can either cut and shut another from one of my wrecks or cut a slot and leave it open to fit a normal nut. Title: Re: Lost nuts :( Post by: FCRB26 on October 16, 2010, 07:52:28 PM Nutserts
make sure you fit a knurled one not the plain finish ones. Also only use a pneumatc tool or ratchet type one dont use a hand one it wont pull it up properly. Most sheetmetal places or switchbord manufacturers have them. Where are you situated?
