Title: Not fe or fc
Post by: GM on October 04, 2010, 02:27:13 PM
Still got the fe van, but couldn't turn this one down. Needs hoodling, brakes and some other minor tidying up. Working at Dubbo for another 4-6 weeks, then will get stuck into it.

           Cheers Glenn

Glenn,

Good score, that's a tidy looking FJ. Gotta be happy with that!

Hi Glenn

Looks like a nice little unit for you to have some fun with!

Beware the power of the grey though - you wouldn't be used to it!  ;) :D

Glenn,

Thats a nice looking car. Do you have any pics of the full side view (both sides and front and back) of the car. Also the distance between the "B" at floor level. The reason I'm asking is I was approached by a bloke in Penrith, who told me he had 2 of the same car as mine. The FE Sedan. They are on Mulgoa Rd. He showed me and there are 2 cars. One is a 48-215 in bits and he is attempting to weld the outer sills on the car and they are not going well. I told him I would try to help with it. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. The other is an original Black FE. Both were purchased from a deceased estate. Any help would be appreciated. PM sent as well.

Cheers Rusty

Haven't been slack, here's whats been done. Brakes (big job), electrics sorted, had to drill out and replace studs for new flange gasket, gearbox seals, replaced engine mount, shackle rubbers, stripped and cleaned carby, bought a new rear bumper from Taiwan and now finishing the interior. (hoodlining etc.)
