Post by: perth_ute on August 05, 2010, 12:42:31 PM
Hello, has anyone had experience with lowering blocks for rear FE leaf springs. Was looking at http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_detail.php?part_number=47911

I've got them in my sedan, 1"1/2 I think. I've got ute springs in. Seems to sit good.

Colin.

ok all working something to be aware of. The lowering blocks have a locating pin that goes under the diff. For FE - HD the pin is around 20mm but HR it is around 13mm. So be carefull when ordering your lowering block to check if you have a HR diff.

Making the process more fun I have FE leafs so you will notice that both lowering blocks are too wide for the saddle pad so you will need to cut them to fit. Only the rare spares fit unless you want to cut both saddle pads with aftermarket nylon.
