These are clear plastic and painted from the inside. I used a product called Polly S Easy-Lift-Off paint and decal remover. It claims to be safe of most types of plastic and will remove most paint. Like anything it should be tried on a small area that wont be seen in case it has a bad reaction to the plastic.
