Now that you've mastered the pic thing, how about some more pics and info? :) cheers, jack Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: customFC on June 26, 2010, 08:29:38 PM Very clean looking wagon.
...and congrats on mastering the pic thing. Regards Alex Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: jeffoakleyfc on June 26, 2010, 09:40:58 PM The Car was a 1957 FC Holden, it was rebuilt about 14 years ago now.
Was a very long process might I add. There are photos from start to finish of the car so I'll upload a few more. When I rebuilt it we bought the 'OLD FC' number plates, which we thought was a nice touch. How it was when I got it (http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab141/jeffoakley61/OLD%20FC/IMG_0002.jpg) A front on shot (http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab141/jeffoakley61/OLD%20FC/IMG_0001.jpg) The Interior (http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab141/jeffoakley61/OLD%20FC/IMG-1.jpg) The seat i recovered in all black, I can't think of much else to add at this point.. Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: EffCee on June 26, 2010, 11:04:45 PM Jeff,

Cheers Deano Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: FCV08 on June 26, 2010, 11:25:34 PM Jeff
Nice car. What running gear does it have? Noticed the lack of a clutch pedal so Auto is obviously installed. Pearled Steering wheel also looks great. Well done Craig Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: customFC on June 27, 2010, 01:45:58 AM Hey Jeff (?)
FC's were not released till May 6 1958, so your FC can't be 1957. Use the decoder on this site to find out more about your cars details. Decoder can be found at this link: http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/idinfo.html ($2) Regards Alex ps. always nice to see someone create such a nice car in the shed at home. Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: simins on June 27, 2010, 06:44:11 PM that looks like one sweet ride Simon Addison

Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: Champ58FC on December 07, 2010, 06:10:10 PM What sort of steering wheel is that?? ???
Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: FCRB26 on December 07, 2010, 08:07:32 PM It look like a pearl craft one a mob advertises in unique cars well use too that i know of.
Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: weddo on December 07, 2010, 09:45:27 PM Gents,
Pearl Craft produce the most magnificent restored and pearlised wheels that you can imagine. A young lady that frequents this forum (NosFEratu ) has the honour of having not one but two of her (and her better half) steering wheels showcased on the Pearl Craft (www.pearlcraft.com.au/) web site. regards Weddo Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on December 07, 2010, 10:44:12 PM A young lady that frequents this forum (NosFEratu ) has the honour of having not one but two of her (and her better half) steering wheels showcased on the Pearl Craft (www.pearlcraft.com.au/) web site. Oh Cripes, let's hope she doesn't see this thread ::) :P BTW, they actually can't "restore" the wheels to original black but supposedly can tone down the pearl effect. Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: Champ58FC on December 08, 2010, 08:41:26 AM It look like a pearl craft one a mob advertises in unique cars well use too that i know of. Cheers Fchoon. I think I have a Pearlcraft steering wheel too, but didn't know what make it is. Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: NosFEratu on December 09, 2010, 07:59:33 AM Oh Cripes, let's hope she doesn't see this thread ::) :P BTW, they actually can't "restore" the wheels to original black but supposedly can tone down the pearl effect. OI! And exactly what is wrong with Weddo calling me a "young lady"? just cos neither word describes me accurately........ :D Actually....... Wayne at Pearlcraft can (and will) do steering wheels to straight black if you really want them but if you're doing a two tone pearl wheel he prefers to do a black tint over a black pearl. :) And yep, they're one of my most favourite things on both the cars :D :D Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: jack_fc on December 09, 2010, 01:20:59 PM Oh Cripes, let's hope she doesn't see this thread ::) :P yep, easy to pick who has pudding already... ::) Title: Re: Holden FC Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on December 09, 2010, 01:25:18 PM yep, easy to pick who has pudding already... ::) ;D |
