Title: Front end sealant.
Post by: Mc Bean on June 03, 2010, 09:07:57 AM
Hi All,

Just one question, what is the best sealer to use to attach the front end to the body also the fuel tank to the body. A Sika produced or caulking sealer.      ??? ??? ???

Cheers Andy

Caulking sealer sounds OK - certainly not Sikaflex which will never come apart again.

Made that mistake with the fuel tank in the van, then put a hole in it via a bit of rubbish on the road... took hours of swearing to get it out!!

Thanks guys

That was my biggest concern, if (Hope not) I ever had to pull anything apart again I would not be able to.
