Title: False advertising. Post by: FCRB26 on May 03, 2010, 06:39:41 PM Found a add on the wall of the recycling centre at the local tip because thats where you would advertise a old car NOT
"for sale FE holden mint condition collectors car" There was a pic and it was smick the bloke just happened to be there and he said it had every nasco option ever offered fully restored no rust mint condition 8 grand or nearest offer. I said that photo looks fairly old he said oh thats not the car thats one a mate had he said mine is in a backyard and has been sitting there for a few years but looks similar. I have organised to have a look this week but am not getting my hopes up heard it all before. Title: Re: False advertising. Title: Re: False advertising. Post by: ratbox on May 04, 2010, 02:24:34 PM i like those adds on ebay, in the title there's a pic of a stunning car very cheap start price you open the page expecting to see a reserve, but no reserve, then you look at the pics and read the description what yor getting is a pile of rusty bits that you could possably turn into something that resembles the pictured complete car ::) usually for twice what it would cost to buy said finished car >:(
