Title: Oversized front sway bay - how to enlarge rubber bushing hole?
Post by: fossil on April 25, 2010, 01:38:36 PM
Hi,
I'm trying to refit an oversized front sway bar (KMAC, originally orange) to my FC.  When I installed in 30 years ago, it came with oversized rubber bushes - that is the hole was oversized to suit the bigger bar diameter. The bushes hold it to the subframe. The originals are now quite badly deteriorated. The new ones I purchased from Rare Spares (SBMK01), of course are regular sized.

Is there any good trick any one has to ream out a rubber bushing hole?
