Title: Aussie 4 spd and keeping the bench seat Post by: Flamed_FE on February 07, 2003, 02:30:44 AM Alex has inspired me to throw an aussie 4 speed behind my 186. Using his thread (http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=hotup;action=display;num=1022339013) as a starting point, I have made up a set of adapter plates for mounting the gear shift and have taken measurements and made drawings along the way.
This has now been added to the clubs tech section http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/tech004.html Hope to have stage 2 (linkages) done, written up and posted by mid March. Stage 3 (mounting into the car) will have to wait untill my new shell is ready for it. Need to find a really good sub frame if anyone wants to get rid of one.
