Title: Nationals Honour Board
Post by: Old_Mt_Isa_Boy on April 06, 2010, 03:14:50 PM
Whilst some people may not welcome the fame I think (for what it is worth) that an Honour board be made in this section naming all of the winners of each category and maybe if we are lucky a link to a photo of the car. I think this, in a small way, provides appropriate recognition to the people who have exceled in the preservation of our grand passion.

Regards

Wayne

I think its a great idea as it give those who were unable to attend an appreciation of the cars which were caegory winners. One good photo can still make a bad car look amazing so this could give everyone an idea of the standouts amongst the entrants.

Post them up peoples ...................  ;)

I had to leave on Sunday afternoon and would be very interested in who won what.

As I had a look around at the Rugby Park display I picked my own 'winners' and would be interested to know which ones I got right  ;D

Great effort to everyone concerned. All 160+ cars were of a very high quality and a credit to their owners.

Seems to be a bit of a trend forming above.  I think I might have to paint my car a Pale shade of Green If I go trpohy hunting .  8) :D ;D ;) :P ::)

Maybe I should leave it Olinda Green ???

RET and Ken, as I have witnessed many times over the short time being a member of this site, your quick and without fanfare response, thanks. I see many members have already taken the opportunity to look at the lists.

Is it worth considering having a specific topic that is sorted to the top of the list (like where you have photo posting tips on another category).  ???

Again thank you both. Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I'm working on the pages for the official nats site even as we speak. Once they're done, I'll do a sticky topic here as well, exactly as you suggested. Good idea.

cheers
