Title: Vent Drain Tube replacement
Post by: zulu on March 19, 2010, 07:35:25 PM
As the title suggests, what have you blokes substituted for the front air vent plenum drain tube in FE FC, with our other cars I was able to re use or locate original replacements

Is there some sort of hose that can be adapted to fit?

Gary

I found some pollution control hose that was thin in section and had just the right bend in it. Working at Hoppers Stoppers I was fortunate to be able to rat through the shelves in Repco and Bursons looking for hoses etc from their stock ;D
I do miss that benefit :P

Thanks Mark & Ken, I'll give the FX FJ option a go ( have you tried it Mark?) if I don't have any luck with the pollution hose

This worked out well enough Mark, thanks for the tip, and if you cut it in the middle of the dog leg you get 2 drain tubes!
