Title: Wheel cylinders Post by: brads59 on March 14, 2010, 10:01:17 PM Gday guys,
Im looking for NOS wheel cylinders x4 Anyone know where to find these? Or do we re sleeve them these days? Cheers Brad Title: Re: Wheel cylinders Post by: stapla on March 14, 2010, 10:35:27 PM Hi Brad,
I got my 4 new wheel cylinders from rare spares. Brand was Protex. I guess time will tell if they have moisture problems in a year or 2. Power Brakes in Adelaide (formally of Parade Norwood) can resleeve with stainless could be better long term. http://www.powerbrakes.com.au Cheers Peter. Title: Re: Wheel cylinders Post by: FB_MAD on March 15, 2010, 01:28:17 PM I know a place in Tamworth NSW that can re-sleeve in stainless and supply new cups for around $50 each.
They will last longer than repro or NOS ones and it will be only you that will know that they are re-sleeved ones and not NOS ones. I have some done by this place in my FB and they did a good job. Unless you can get a wholesale price you will find repro ones will be dearer than $50 each and "if" you can find any NOS ones they will be dearer again.
