Just outta curiousity, Does anyone else name their cars (ie, Elanor from Gone In 60 Seconds) my brother calls his 19705 triumph Donald, but i was wondering if anyone else names there car in a similar fashion?

The General named my car is called a "Holden"   ;)  ;)

It really varies just depending on how they are running. lol.

I name them all!
Fred the F-One Hundred
Ginger (the F100 Tub Trailer - cause she wouldn't be stepping out without Fred)
Red Zed R - ZZR1100 Kawasaki
Harry N Wagon - EK Wagon (original rego HNW)
Henry - EK Sedan (Harry's little brother)
Russ - the EK Ute
and Anna my 62 Carapark Astronaut Caravan

Basically Cars are Guys and accessories are the Girls!

One of mine's called "the shitheap"

(so named because when I told the Leader of the Opposition about my latest purchase, she said
 "oh no, not another shitheap old Holden  ::)")

The other's called "the baitwagon"...

I assume this is to do wish fishing and not cruising the streets looking for young women.... ;D

Too true. My daily driver FE has the plates FEC00L, which is pronounced "Faecal" when she gives me trouble ;D

The stockie is just called "the Ol' Girl".

I never named the wagon.. it was only ever "the wagon"

My new Honda Accord is called Fenry - as in Fenry Honda  (Henry Fonda).  Yeah, I know it's bad, but what else can you do with a Honda?  ::)

Its a shame that its become politicily incorrect, but what about Noddy... I had one when i was a kid!

Yep here goes my first fc had the rego HAO 931 it was called just HAO ,had a wb one tonner called tonner guts had a cx 500 bike called sexy i currently own a harley called SPUD,

My first FC was named Grace as my wife loved the TV show Will & Grace and my first name is William (Simple), my current car is two tone green and called Ivy.

Nothing to hard in my naming process.

My ol girl is called "OLIVIA", my wife and daughter named it. If I had another little girl that would have been the name. SO they named the car instead.

I have a Black Grand Cherokee called "BAA BAA"      (The kids sing "Baa Baa Black Jeep" all the time)

The Astra is "Alison"

I just bought a new Jeep grand Cherokee and its called "Dan". Its named after The the BCF add with the silver grand cherokee (identical to mine) where the the bloke gets out and is "catching up with friends" infront of a mansion. The macho BCF bloke says
"THAT'S NOT LIVING DAN!!"

FC's name is Frankie (FranChi). Wife has called the FC by this name since 1987.

Also have a 'Lola' the Corolla.
