Title: Re: auction croppa creek Post by: Steve Jackson on September 27, 2009, 02:46:29 PM the white one???? someone got ripped off It wasn't white, VH, and it was an amazing Ute! Wish you could have seen it before making your comment! Haven't seen a better one for sale in the last twenty years :o I don't think the guy got ripped off. Title: Re: auction croppa creek Post by: CraigA on September 27, 2009, 04:28:57 PM Quote Haven't seen a better one for sale in the last twenty years And that's coming from a good (maybe the best FB/EK?) authority in Australia ;) I remember coming to your place at Emu Plains in the late 80's and seeing the stuff you'd started to gather back then. If you think its worth the money, then it is. These low mileage cars are like hen's teeth, especially utes and vans. Excellent pick up ;D Title: Re: auction croppa creek Post by: FBwagon on September 27, 2009, 04:59:29 PM It wasn't white, VH, and it was an amazing Ute! I had twenty three FB's and EK's at one stage. Those were the days when I had FC's and FE's. Did you call in after a club run? Steve Title: Re: auction croppa creek Post by: CraigA on September 30, 2009, 10:07:12 PM I used to live on Russell Street and you dropped in one day to have a look at my FC.
The bottom two pictures are of it parked in the front yard of that house. Long time ago for sure!! (http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t167/70XU1/FC%20Holden/FC_old1.jpg) Twenty three FB's hey - now there's something you can't fix with a visit to the doctors ;D Good to see you still have the passion. Title: Re: auction croppa creek Post by: Steve Jackson on September 30, 2009, 10:12:20 PM Oh yes, I remember. I called in a few times. I had the two tone Blue FC and the Green with cream FC and a white FE all sedans. I was in Jamieson St. I think the house.
You car brings back memories :) Steve |
