As to diffs, why the 9 inch? I am part way through installing a Dana 30 (Volvo240) diff, I have seen these installed in two blown cars one a V8 and one a 6 and neither have broken. The one in the blown 6 car has seen extreme duty as a burnout competitor. I got the diff for $150, $100 to get the old holden mounts welded on, $470 for an LSD centre then whatever it's going to cost in new rotors, reco calipers and modded handbrake cable. Title: Re: mini tubs and 9 inch Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on September 10, 2009, 10:58:31 PM dadsfc, A Hilux diff rivals a 9 inch for being pretty much unbreakable. Better still, they're fairly commonplace and relatively inexpensive (when compared to a 9 inch). Just my two cents ... Mine wouldn't allow me to move any of the original chassis, but I did get about an extra 20mm by cutting the inner guard out.
