Title: upholstery
Post by: Kylie Cotton on January 12, 2003, 11:03:30 AM
Hi, We have an FC standard sedan. It needs new upholstery done and was wondering if someone could point us to someone who could do it. Weve just moved to Sydney and we are looking forward to joining the club soon.

PS: needs new paint as well:-)
thanks,Kylie

The only trimmer I know Kylie took a year to do a roof lining ,3 months to do four seats and a week to do the last job that he promised hed have done the same afternoon ,and they were all imperfect.
Want his number ::)

Kylie,

Send a PM to Wayne. He has got on to a guy who has some original type seat material left. Not sure what colours but worth chasing up.

I have seen the work and its good quality.

Cheers,

Craig.

 :DKylie,
Dont mind Harko's humour, why dont you join the forum as a member instead of a guest.
You will get heaps of info, pics, advice, and its a great way to meet other FE/FC fanatics, not to mention spare parts and the odd laugh or two.
Cheers Brad.... :D

Hi
The upholster I used was Peter Woodlands he is Picton area he will come to you. What area are you in his phone number is 46211056  Mob 018281198. I can not guarantee that he can still be able to get the original material as that was almost 12 months ago and they did not have a big range  left then.
The club has it monthly meeting this tuesday night at 8.00 pm you should come along and you will be able to get more advice on other matters as well and enjoy the  passion of your car with others with the same the address and details are on this web site.
HOPE  TO SEE YOU   :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Kylie - you may have a problem with Standard material for the seats and door trims because it is different to the Special material.   This material is quite hard to find, especially the door trims.  Slim was wrecking a Standard sedan and may have some good trim, I've also got some Standard door trims - In green and a few in Blue.  What colour do you need?

Regards   Ken

The seats in the standard sedan Im wrecking could be of some use for the material, and as Ken mentioned it is very different to the others . I have a good friend who is a trimmer in the Campbelltown area , He is a fantastic trimmer, with a good reputation in the game. I will dig out his number and send you a PM
