Title: New website launched for the Queensland Club Post by: RET on April 18, 2009, 07:17:44 PM The FE-FC Holden Car Club of Queensland have a new logo and a new website ($2). Check it out when you get a chance.
A big thank you to Sharon W from Queensland for taking on the job of fixing up the site and adding all the content you see there. For the technically minded, it is built using Joomla!, the same technology that powers the NSW Club Website ($2) and the Nationals Website ($2), as well as many thousands of others out there on the web. It's a "Content Management System", which means that maintaining the information on it doesn't require knowledge of HTML, or FTP, or any other of the underlying protocols, languages etc of the 'net. Now that I've done the core design and layout, members of the Queensland club will be able to keep the information up to date themselves, add new articles, remove old stuff, etc. etc. If you can drive the forum, you can drive a CMS. <plug> I do a bit of this sort of work. If you have a need for it, get in touch. Very reasonable rates. </plug> Title: Re: New website launched for the Queensland Club Post by: crossply on April 18, 2009, 08:26:39 PM Well done Guys, nice looking website.
I like the way you've shown the club members cars, it would make for a good screen saver. Paul Title: Re: New website launched for the Queensland Club Post by: RET on April 18, 2009, 09:00:02 PM Thanks Paul. If you like that one, check out the new one on the Nats site...
