Title: Hadfield Chassis Post by: tmudie on January 03, 2003, 05:14:22 AM Hi All,
I'm after a full Hadfield chassis for a FC wagon to suit red motor with tri-matic. I'm in Sydney Thanks Tony Mudie tmudie@bigpond.net.au 0402 891 337 Title: Re: Hadfield Chassis Post by: FC-V8 on January 03, 2003, 05:25:11 AM Tony
If you don't find one you could easily make one yourself. I have got one on my wagon you could copy if you want to do it yourself Glenn Title: Re: Hadfield Chassis Post by: RET on January 03, 2003, 06:12:31 AM CRS sell them off-the-rack AFAIK. http://www.rodshop.com.au

Yep, I'm just trying to save some money, see if anyone has one they don't need...... Actually would be interested in any parts of a full kit, and then buy the remaining bits new. I may be able to get the long front to rear pieces, but would then still need the cross members, and the front smaller chassis parts Thanks Tony Title: Re: Hadfield Chassis Post by: RET on January 03, 2003, 11:10:03 PM The only cautionary comment I'll give you is that on their website, they note that you have to specify the gearbox you will be using when you order an FE/FC chassis kit, so you'll have to be pretty lucky to find one going unused to suit trimatic.
In another thread ($2) someone said they bought tunnel and chassis kit in 2001 for $400 + postage. cheers RET Title: Re: Hadfield Chassis Post by: tmudie on January 03, 2003, 11:21:54 PM thanks I think that's what I'll do.
