I am making a fan shroud for my FC. Does anyone know how much clearance is needed between the tip of the fan blade and the shroud. I am leaving 1 inch or 25mm. Is that enough? Title: Re: Fan Shroud Post by: mc54 on February 22, 2009, 05:12:53 AM I took a look at how much my engine moves and it is really hard to tell. I am going to give it 1 1/2 inches at each side and hope that will do.
I figure that if there is too much space it will defeat the purpose of having a fan shroud. Mike |
