Title: chassis no's

ive just got an fc ute and i can't read chassis number on right hand inner gaurd  it starts with an 8 and ends with an s but has been repainted and i can't really see numbers. how do i get this no compliance plate reads fc2106 1064 ?   thanks ken

Unfortunately there is no way to obtain the number other than removing the paint. There are no records of chassis and body numbers. I have checked my records and it is not on my list.

Might be a long shot, but does it have a rego label of any sort.
The chassis number appears on the label.

Some times you can read them from underneath the skirt  ......FC427........

Try rubbing chalk over the number.  It may male it a little more legible.

Some times you can read them from underneath the skirt  ......FC427........

I think we've got a crossed line here - the answers seem to belong to very different questions! ;D

I'll correct my mistake.  I should have read "It may make it, ie the number, more legible.

The keys are too close on the keyboard at times.

im not sure but i think a lot of people in mudgee drink water backwards out a glass !!!
