Saw Mr FC in the flesh, and let me tell you, 'what a machine'.
Voted for him in the 'peoples choice award'. A very nice car indeed.
But missed him cruising around in the super cruise.

Not many FC's or FE's out there. Where are they all???

Regards
Janette

I know where 1 FC is in Canberra!  Better make that 2 FC's otherwise I'll be accused of favoritism!  :D

i made the top 60 in real street in my ek ute and got selected to do the supercruise as well.I didnt bother staying saturday night drove the ute on to the trailer then headed for home 200 am in the morning i finally got to bed. When we left epic we where pulled over by the coppers for a vehicle inspection. The guys loved the ute and sent us on our way.Overall this year was very quiet ive been to 21 of 22 crowds where down heaps .Still had a ball cruising tho 2.5 hrs straight on the friday as well as saturday

12,000 down on last year
That would have been 12,000 car enthusiasts not the drunken idiots I suspect, but I am sure Chic made a pretty penny from his cut of the alcohol sales  ::)

G'day Fatboy, good to meet up. Thought the Nats was a calmer experience this year with the numbers being down by 12k, had less idiot factor and more room to move.

We came away with a 1st in Top Open Hot Rod.

Cheers Paul

not that it's not a good car but the quality of cars wasn't that high, to get in the top 60 there were only 65 cars contending and i know atleast 2 of those cars were brought in from other categories 1 from street and another from tough street, it really was a pretty sad showing most of the cars were in there last year

Do you have to work at being such a plonker, or does it just come naturally to you?

Best Retro is a goddamn awesome achievement, no matter how much you want to cheapen it. How'd your car go? Yeah, that's what I thought. All hat and no cattle. ::)

Congratulations Joe and Mark, that's a fantastic result.

yor such a wank stain ::) i've been going 21 years make that 22 but this year only a spectater so i think that i have an idea that the quality of cars was down, didn't say there was anything wrong with this car, my car was not in there never have been never tried and never will, i enjoy driving my cars proven with my 4 top cruiser trophies not washing and polishing all weekend

don't woory soon yor forum will be as you want it full of restorer fuddy duddies......goose

ratbox, your original comment belittled a great effort from a guy who has put a lot of time into preparing a car for this event. Your latest comment is way to emotional and offensive in the extreme.

This forum is for restorers and modifiers, but not for those who cannot show respect to others.

Yeah well, I think we can leave it there guys, it's only going to go downhill from here.

For the record, based on the National's Entries it's almost down the line for Restored vs Modified, both Admins on here have Modifieds and most of the Mods have (or had) Modifieds.
