hi,i was wondering if someone had some info on changing my details over as i've purchased a car on ebay with the reg going to run out in the next week or so and be cancelled.and my plan is to restore her over the next few years,do i need to change ownership or advise vicroads, as i bought it with no intention to drive it.And what do i have to do to re register her when completed?I,m in victoria also...cheers ..mike

Hand the plates in.  When you go to get it rego you will need a full rwc then take it in for inspection and you will then be given new plates.  Make sure you have a receipt of sale, but if not a stat deck will suffice with how you purchased it and how much you paid.  As for now though they dont need to know anything, just let the rego run out and forget about it.
