Title: 58 FE Special Post by: FEHOLDEN on November 12, 2008, 10:02:08 PM After a fourteen year gap, my wife and I are due to become parents again in the new year so, for my sins, the FE has to go. :'(
She's Corsair Tan with white roof and Tilly "detriot" flash. I have done a lot of work on her: HR front and rear end, lowered two inches all round with Pedders big bore shocks & 3.36 diff 186 motor with 186s carby & headers with two inch exhaust, Gearbox is stock. HT pwr disc brakes front, drums rear Recored radiator with 13 inch thermo fan. Car goes like stink and stops well but desperately needs repainting. No reg. No RWC Extras include the aforementioned flash, rear view mirrors on the front guards, tow bar & scratch plates. Interior is all original and is in excellent condition. No rust except a little bit in subframe and a door. I have kept all parts to put this car back to original if required Vehicle will be sold with all this plus a heap of spares besides including an out of date gas kit which I can arrange to be re-certified at your expense. $5000 I am situated in Cockatoo Vic. and can be contacted here via PM or 0428 384 623 I am not sure how to post photos but can email if interested. Title: Re: 58 FE Special Post by: Sheriff on December 14, 2008, 02:53:34 PM Gday Denis. Sorry not interested in buying your car, though it will be a good buy for someone. Would like to see a pic. though, as I have a 58FE opposite of yours, Castle Grey (off-white) with Corsair tan roof and Detroit strip. Can do?? Cheers, and good luck, Mike.

Top photo is when I backed it out of my mum's garage after 10 years of hibernation. Still stock as a rock and started first crank [with a new battery]. Next two are after aforementioned modifications[apologies for garage, you know how it is ;)] Next three are basically new drivetrain. Rust seen on floor was only surface rust and mild steel sheets were put over original, bitumen painted, floor which is completely rust free. Boot was also bitumenised and rust free. These were only a few example shots. There are plenty more both before and during "rebuild". Any questions please don't hesitate. 0428384623 Denis |
