If you go to the topic http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,850.msg2709.html#msg2709 ($2) there is an explanation of the history of Micro Models. I suspect your wagon is from the mid 80s and that the MCOTW on the base is Model Cars of the World. I have one of these in an unassembled kit. It is quite rough and even has an small L shaped hole through the roof. As to the sedan, I also have one with the same base and assume it is from another phase of their history, but don't know for sure. I have a variety of other bases and should try to post the different ones in the hope someone knows which base was produced in which phase. I hope that helps with the FC wagon at least. Cheers David Title: Re: micro sedan and wagon models Post by: NosFEratu on November 05, 2008, 05:41:06 PM Hi
I picked up two Micro Models at a local swap meet in the mid 80's. Both were unassembled and unpainted - an FE sedan and an FC Van. I kept the FE but left the Van behind with the real Van. I've still got the unassembled and unpainted Tom Thumb FE in it's original box that I picked up around the same time from another swap meet. I'm not much into model cars (you can't drive 'em) but the couple I've got are quite cute! :D Kathi Title: Re: micro sedan and wagon models Post by: ashfe on April 28, 2009, 08:30:48 PM i have micro models fe model unfortunantly it was repainted red by my uncle before my dad got it he had it inspected and dated by an antiques dealer whome specialises in model cars and it wasdated as 1958 its body is pritty much identical except the under carriage reads micro not micro reproductions will post pics when i can get some in focus
