Title: WTB: 3.36 Diff Gears suit Banjo Post by: CraigA on October 14, 2008, 04:09:51 PM Does anyone have a 3.36 banjo centre for sale?
I only require the gearset (crown wheel + pinion) as I'm planning to modify an existing 3.55 LSD to 3.36 ratio. If you can assist please P.M or email me at craig_alderson@yahoo.com.au Thanks, Craig. EDIT: Sorry forgot to add, prefer Sydney pick up but will pay for postage if needed. Title: Re: WTB: 3.36 Diff Gears suit Banjo Post by: Ed on October 15, 2008, 08:45:00 AM Craig,
how can you tell externally? I have a banjo in a ute which is not being used. let me know if you need it., Cheers Ed Title: Re: WTB: 3.36 Diff Gears suit Banjo Post by: CraigA on October 15, 2008, 09:47:39 AM G'Day Ed,
Thanks for responding. The diff ratio is stamped on the pinion cover, just behind the yoke. If you grab a torch and have a look behind the yoke and the usual oil/dirt mixture that resides there you should be able to see it. On a 3.36 and other later model diffs I think its also written on the crown wheel and highlighted by a painted area. Much appreciated. Craig. Thanks, I am on to a set now but they are in Newcastle. Like you I thought there would be a few around and am surprised a set didn't turn up in Sydney. Will let you know if I need to get a set from you. I've got another spare 3.55 centre here, but its been locked. I used it at the drags once and snapped an axle off the line but the centre is perfect. Any use to you? If so you can have it for nothing. Cheers, Craig. Let me know what you want to do, maybe a halfway run 1 day?
