Title: Bucket seats to suit Fc-what fits? Post by: R Verner on June 05, 2000, 12:00:00 PM Fitting celica 5spd in Fc-wondering what type of seats fit? Have tried Hr buckets but not happy with fit-too wide once seats clear door pillars there is only about a 2inch gap between seats . I would like to have about 4-5inchs to allow for shifter,and would prefere low back buckets to suit era of the car[to re-trim to match rear seat]. Has any one done simalar conversion? any help or sugestions apreciated. Thanks

Post by: Richard Thomas (Guest) on June 06, 2000, 12:00:00 PM I used LJ Torana seats (with the sad triangular head-rests ditched!), which are reasonably low-backed. They don't look out of place. I have room between the seats for an HK padded console, so that's 5 or 6 inches across.
