Title: Heater Duct Wanted Post by: REDMR2RED on September 30, 2008, 04:14:17 PM I'm after the 32mm ducts that go from the Nasco Heater "Y" piece to the Deminster vents in the Dash Board for my FC Ute. The passenger side one is about 450mm long and the driver side one is about 900mm long.
I've tried Scott's Old Auto Rubber in Oakleigh and they rang back today to say it is no longer made and no stocks available. >:( >:( >:( The next best thing available is 32mm vaccuum cleaner pipe or swimming pool hose. go to Clarke rubber and get some convoluted hose (vac hose, pool hose etc). my local had different sizes.. i used one with the same OD as the heated duct. I slipped a rubber hose as an adaptor over the heater duct and the duct hose in the other and clamped together. I attached the ducts using "speed clips" (speaker clips). hope this helps. Title: Re: Heater Duct Wanted Post by: FC427 on October 02, 2008, 09:32:07 PM I used the tube that transfers hot air from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner ,used on early Commodores and Jap cars your spare parts shop should carry this item as a universal replacement part in a few different sizes and it just stretchers out to length and ''resembles'' the original product ......FC427.....
