Title: RE FITTING FC SPECIAL MOULDING Post by: FCOV6 on September 29, 2008, 01:27:57 PM Shortly i will be re fitting all that loveley stainless trim to bring out that shine its been missing for a long time, i want to help prevent any future rust problems so was wondering what should i use to replace the putty that was originally used ? I'm not keen on just fitting it back on with the metal clips straight onto nice paint.

If this applies to any of your new clips I would use a dab of silastic to seal up the hole.
